Step Lightly

We're thrilled to have Virginia King's new sculpture, Step Lightly on the trail. Her previous Brick Bay work, Sliver, was sold and relocated to the intersection of Broadway and Khyber Pass where a successful transition was made from its rural lakeside setting to a busy urban environment in Auckland.
Now Step Lightly casts its spell in the Blackwood dam at Brick Bay, where three filigreed plant-form arches step lightly across the lake, their reflection creating an intriguing sinuous illusion. Come and experience the magic of Virginia King’s Step Lightly at Brick Bay.
