Feu’u gains inspiration from Polynesian art and history, and after spending time on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) was deeply influenced by its history and culture. Orongo references the the ceremonial village on Rapa Nui dedicated to the god Make-Make.  Standing high adjacent Brick Bay’s uppermost vineyards, Orongo gazes seaward, facing what’s known as the Polynesian Triangle, honouring the migration journeys of the people of the Pacific.
